These terms cover use of this website. They don't cover the terms of any client project, which are set out separately in writing before that work starts.
Use of this site
You're welcome to browse this site and use the contact and review forms for their intended purpose. Please don't attempt to submit false enquiries, spam the review form, or attempt to circumvent the security or rate-limiting measures on this site without written authorisation — see reporting a security issue below.
Content
Case studies, reviews and written content on this site belong to Venon or are published with the permission of the party named. Reviews reflect the views of the person who submitted them, not Venon.
No warranty
This site is provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
What we won't build
We won't build a site designed to run an unlicensed lottery, or one that takes paid entries with no skill element and no free entry route.
What we won't print
We don't print copyrighted or trademarked designs without proof you hold the rights — that includes licensed characters, branded parts and models from paid marketplaces where the licence doesn't permit commercial printing. We don't print firearm components or parts of them, weapons, or anything designed to cause harm. We don't print anything intended for medical implantation, or food-contact items, since we can't certify materials or process for either.
By sending us a file you confirm you have the right to have it printed.
Competition sites
Where we build a competition, prize draw or similar site, you are the operator of anything run on it. You are responsible for the lawfulness of your competition in every jurisdiction you accept entries from, including any licence or permit, your own terms and conditions, how you conduct draws, age verification, and your obligations to entrants. We provide the software only. We don't give legal advice, we don't verify that your competition is compliant, and we aren't responsible for how you operate it. Payment processing is subject to your processor's approval, which we can't obtain or guarantee.
Security testing and simulation
Where we run phishing simulations or similar exercises, you confirm you have authority over the people and systems included, and that your staff have been informed through your own policies that simulations may take place. Our simulation pages never capture passwords or other credentials — we record only that an action occurred. Results are provided in aggregate by default; where individual detail is requested, you are responsible for how it's used, and we recommend it isn't used for disciplinary purposes. Where we process personal data on your behalf, a data processing agreement will be in place before work begins.
Analysis services
Where we analyse suspicious emails, links or attachments, we provide a verdict and a recommendation. Acting on it — including containment, password resets and any notification obligations you have — remains your responsibility. Samples you send us are retained only as long as needed for the analysis.

Reporting a security issue
If you've found a vulnerability in this site or anything we run, email security@venon.ie with enough detail to reproduce it. We'll acknowledge it within two working days and tell you what we're doing about it.
Please don't access data that isn't yours, run load or denial-of-service tests, or leave anything behind. Report in good faith and follow that, and we won't pursue you.
If you've found something in a site we built for a client, tell us — we don't own their systems and can't authorise testing on them.
